Dae In Chung is an animator, who makes independent short films.
He was born and raised in South Korea. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from California Institute of the Arts, and also studied animation at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
His work explores the theme of subjectivity, uncertainty and impermanency, which arises from traveling and living abroad. His films have been screened at many venues around the world, including Ann Arbor Film Festival, Rome Film Festival, Melbourne International Animation Festival, Collectif Jeune Cinéma and etc. He won Best Experimental Award at UCLA Shorttakes Film Festival with his film Hypervibes.
